Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Identli — including identli.me, any custom domain pointed at our service, our dashboards, our APIs, our NFC cards, our QR codes, our short links, and our AI assistant (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the Service. If you are using Identli on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at support@identli.me if you believe your account has been compromised.
Your username becomes your public profile URL and, for now, is permanent — we may help with limited exceptions (for example trademark disputes, or a serious privacy concern) but we cannot guarantee a username change. Choose carefully.
We may reclaim a username that is impersonating another person or brand, violating these Terms, or sitting on a long-inactive account that someone with a stronger claim has asked for.
3. Your content
Everything you publish on Identli — your bio, blocks, images, links, AI-assistant FAQ content, custom NFC card designs — remains yours. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, and display your content for the limited purpose of operating the Service: showing your profile to visitors, serving your QR codes, fulfilling your NFC card orders, and similar.
You are responsible for your content. You confirm you have the rights to anything you upload (especially images, logos, and any custom card design files) and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Identli to:
- Publish content that is illegal, hateful, threatening, defamatory, sexually explicit involving minors, or that incites violence.
- Impersonate another person or brand without permission.
- Run phishing, scams, malware distribution, or any deceptive scheme.
- Send spam, run unsolicited bulk outreach through any feature of the Service, or scrape the Service.
- Attempt to break, probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service, our APIs, or any underlying infrastructure.
- Use the AI assistant to generate content that violates the rules above, or that Anthropic's usage policy prohibits.
We may remove content, suspend features, or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on the severity.
5. Plans, billing, and refunds
Identli offers a Free plan and paid subscription plans (currently Pro and Business, when available). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method for the recurring fee plus any applicable taxes.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate refunds for partial periods.
Annual plans are non-refundable after the first 14 days. Within the first 14 days of an annual purchase, contact support@identli.me for a full refund if you have not yet ordered a physical NFC card on that subscription.
If a payment fails, we will retry it according to Stripe's standard retry schedule. If recovery fails, paid features will be paused until the balance clears.
6. NFC cards and physical products
NFC cards (PVC, wooden, or metallic) are physical goods manufactured and shipped after you complete an order. Production typically takes a few business days; shipping times depend on your country and courier.
Standard-design cards are produced from our templates. For custom-design cards, we ask you to approve a digital proof before production begins. Once you approve the proof and the card enters production, the order cannot be cancelled.
Faulty cards (manufacturing defects, NFC chip not reading, print errors) will be replaced free of charge — email support@identli.me within 30 days of delivery with a clear photo. Cards damaged after delivery (bending, scratching, water damage) are not covered.
7. AI assistant disclaimer
If you enable the AI assistant on your profile, you understand that:
- Replies are generated by a large language model (Anthropic Claude) based on the persona and FAQ content you provide. They may occasionally be inaccurate or off-topic.
- You are responsible for what your assistant says on your behalf — set a clear scope, supply accurate FAQ content, and review conversations regularly.
- Each plan includes a monthly message quota. Once exhausted, your assistant pauses until the next billing cycle.
- Conversations and any leads collected appear in your dashboard. You decide how to follow up.
8. Custom domains
On eligible plans you may point a domain you own at your Identli profile. You are responsible for owning the domain and for configuring DNS as we describe in the dashboard. We issue and renew TLS certificates for verified domains; domains that fail verification or stop resolving correctly may be unlinked automatically.
9. Intellectual property
Identli, the "identli.me" name, our logos, the look and feel of the Service, and the underlying software are owned by Identli and protected by intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks except to describe that you use the Service.
10. Termination
You can close your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, if your use of the Service creates legal or security risk for us, or if your payment method has been delinquent for an extended period. Where possible we will give notice and a chance to fix the issue first.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Identli disclaims all warranties — express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Identli will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid Identli in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Identli harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved by good-faith negotiation will be brought in the courts of Lahore, Pakistan, unless applicable consumer-protection laws give you the right to bring an action in your home jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, give you advance notice by email and in your dashboard. If you keep using the Service after the new version takes effect, you accept the new Terms.
